I Like You, I Love You - A Book SO Adorable, I'd Buy It RIGHT Now... If I Had Someone to Give It To.

I know that most people aren't into mushy, over-the-top love stuff like I am. BUT IF YOU ARE! I Like You, I Love You, by Carissa Potter,  is an adorable "extended Valentine" you might really enjoy. 

Because, first of all, that cover is hilarious and amazing. (Even though I definitely wouldn't wear lacy underwear for someone I only liked -- it's still funny.)

Second, Potter does a great job of writing in a "visual voice," sharing relatable, and even annoying, experiences in cute and funny ways.

Of course, it only touches on the lovely parts of a relationship:

While neglecting to acknowledge what an inconvenience it is when, say, you decide to break up... but neither of you has time to move out, so now what?

But -- it is what it is. Enjoy it while it lasts. I am all about being over-the-top with my boyfriend. Hence my history of matching pink swimsuits and Valentine's Weeks.

Even though I'm not in a relationship right now, I definitely enjoyed finding I Like You, I Love You on a friend's coffee table this week. If you're looking for a gift idea for your boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, or significant other... this could be it.
