Ever heard of choice overload? It's this weird psychology thing where, when you have too many choices, two things tend to happen:
1. You become choice paralyzed -- afraid of making the wrong decision, make no decision at all. Or, 2. If you do make a decision, you ultimately end up feeling less satisfied with the decision than people who'd had fewer options. You'll always kind of be like, "Did I really like this one best? Or was that other, similar one better?" I used to have this problem with deodorant. I'd go to the store and be like, "I don't have to smell Powder Fresh! I can smell like a mango! Or a summer day! Or a lilac! Or, probably, even a marshmallow!" And I'd smell all these smells, make a decision, take my new product home... and then decide I hated the way it smelled on me. Plus they always left white stuff on my clothes, even when they promised not to. Plus... what's even in it? I don't know. For that reason, I stopped wearing deodorant for a long time. Then I started wearing men's deodorant, which I was really happy with -- I could basically take the smell of sexy man with me wherever I went. And then... I joined Fitmob, and one of the gyms at which I took a yoga class had this in their bathroom: Here on The Happy Talent, I write a lot about travel. Which is why I was pretty excited to see these Goby Blue & Gold Vacation Oxfords on zulily today.
